Keeping your Graphene OS or your Calyx OS phone up-to-date

If you are using a GrapheneOS and CalyxOS phone, your device will automatically, regularly notify and prompt you to update the software when releases updates and/or security patches are available.

Nevertheless, if you want to manually check if there are updates available to your phone, here’s how to do it:

Open Settings, scroll down and select System or About Phone, then click on System Updates.
Your device will now automatically check for updates. If an update is available, you’ll see the option to download and install it.

Tips before installing an update:

• Backup Important Data
• Ensure your device has sufficient battery charge (at least 50%) before starting the update.
