GOODS AND SERVICES

What do you sell?

We sell degoogled phones with GrapheneOS, Lineage OS, CalyX OS or /e/ OS installed on. You are paying for the phone, the international shipment and the service fee to perform the installation of the operating system on one or more phones of your choice.

Why don’t I do the OS installation by myself?

Absolutely; you can. But if you grow tired after installing Graphene, Calyx or whatever OS you like on your fifth, tenth, n th phone then we’re here for you. In fact, the most private way of obtaining a privacy phone would be… to make the privacy phone yourself.

Our service is mostly suited for two types of audience:

1) The people that find the installation too technical and they are afraid of bricking their phone; or

2) The people that know perfectly what’s involved in installing these systems by themselves, so they know well how to check that our devices are genuine.

Do you carry inventory? Is my phone already ready for shipping?

We have a certain level of inventory in stock. However the phones are not degoogled yet and the service is performed “Made to Order”. We usually ship a phone between 3 to 5 days after an order is received. Stock levels vary depending on the model. Phones that are very recent might have slightly longer lead times.

Will my favorite app work on a de-googled phone?

We can not guarantee that your favorite app will work. Most of the apps we have tried work without issues.

However due to the fact that degoogled phones come with removed google play services, any paid apps (or apps that allow you to purchase content in the app) will not work.

Apps which allow you to purchase a membership or premium content via the web, and then log in using the app are ok.

Many apps such as Lyft, Doordash, etc. can be used through a website interface with a bookmark placed on your home screen. 

SHIPPING

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world, wherever companies like FedEx, UPS, DHL or similar allow us to ship.

FEES, PRICES, AND PAYMENTS

Are taxes, import duties, levies and other government-imposed costs included in the price?

All prices quoted on the site strive to include dutied, taxes and ancillary costs due to importation in the price. If you live in a country where the taxes are particularly bad we'll seek to be in touch with you before order fullfillment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the major payment networks such as VIsa, Mastercard and AMEX via the Shopify payment system powered by Stripe. We accept Paypal and major accepted cryptocurrencies. If a payment method you usually use is not listed in the available ones get in touch, you never know we may be able to accept it.

For Bitcoin, do you accept BTC on second layers such as the lightning network?

Yes, sure. If such network is not readily available on checkout (eg: Liquid, RSK, etc) send us a message and we'll do a manual checkout.

PRIVACY POLICY

What personal information do you collect?

We collect personal information when you purchase our products. We strive to collect as little as we can, but we may require certain personal information to be able to deliver the goods to you; for example we need a shipping address and the shipping address must be good enough for a courier to deliver to you.

Also, we still live in the physical world, so we might be compelled by certain external bodies (eg: governments) to obtain and retain certain information from you. If that happens, we strive to retain as little as possible for as short as possible.

What do you do with the personal information collected?

We use personal information collected from you to deliver the products to you, communicate with you about the product and/or order, and to resolve problems that may arise in connection with your order.

Can you ask to remove the personal information given at the time of order?

YES! You can ask us to remove your personal information. In fact, we encourage you to do so. Please understand that we may be subject to applicable laws that limit our capability to shed your records as soon as possible, but we will endeavor to remove your data as soon as possible to help you maintain your privacy. 

How do we safeguard your personal information?

We will seek to minimize the time your personal information is kept online and store it offline. Also, we will always strive to ask as little information as possible. If we don’t have unnecessary information about you such data cannot be stolen from us.
